Lovense Lush 4 vs Lush Mini: the same device in two sizes

Same app, same intensity, same waterproofing, and at Lovense's own store, the same price. The Lush Mini is smaller and lighter; the Lush 4 runs longer and reaches further. The choice is about fit, not features.

Lovense

Lovense Lush 4

The default, unless size is the question

At the same price, it gives you nearly half as much battery again, a longer Bluetooth range and the five-minute top-up Lovense publishes for it. If the size suits you, there is no reason to give those up.

Lovense

Lovense Lush Mini

For a smaller, lighter fit

About a fifth lighter and with a shorter insertable section, it keeps everything that matters in the app, the waterproofing and the intensity. It charges fully slightly faster, and still runs close to four hours by Lovense's figures.

Most comparisons weigh a cheaper device against a better one. This one does not, because Lovense prices the Lush Mini and the Lush 4 the same at its own store. What you are choosing between is a size, and the battery and range that come with it.

What is identical

The app, long-distance control, custom patterns and pairing with a partner's device work exactly the same on both. Lovense lists the same maximum intensity of 7,000 vibrations per minute, the same 36 dB minimum noise, the same IPX7 rating and the same LED light tail. For a partner controlling it from a distance, there is no difference at all.

What the Lush 4 adds

Battery and reach. Up to 350 minutes of use against 236, a Bluetooth range of 105 metres against 93, and the published claim that five minutes on the charger gives about an hour. Lovense does not publish a quick-charge figure for the Lush Mini, so we do not assume one.

What the Lush Mini adds

Size and weight. At 58 g against 75 g, and with an insertable section of 138 mm against 160 mm, it is the more discreet and the more forgiving of the two for anyone who finds the standard Lush too large. A full charge takes 40 minutes, the quickest of the current Lush models.

Which one, then

Choose by fit. If the standard size suits you, the Lush 4 gives you more battery and range for the same money. If you want something smaller and lighter, the Lush Mini gives up only battery and a little range. For the wider Lush family, our Lush 4 review and the Lush 4 against Lush 3 comparison cover the rest.
